We are delighted to welcome Virginia Tech as the 19th formal partner in the Hydra Project.
Tyler Walters, Dean and Professor at the University Libraries, writes “While we are at the beginning stages of our visioning and implementation process, we are committed to developing a Hydra/Fedora based infrastructure. We will leverage the flexibility offered by Hydra/Fedora as we embark on an initiative to develop a scalable and sustainable infrastructure for our locally generated digital content. We envision using Hydra heads over digital objects managed in a Fedora repository for several of our digital services, including digital collections, data management and institutional repository services.”
Welcome to the Hydra family!
